Note, please call Koryn to arrange meeting or car shuffle as Jason is going to the coast on tuesday to help Julie (wife) prepare for coast 2 coast. So I'll be out of range for that, stressing!!!! ( nah all good)

Meet Location: Staveley Hall, South Canterbury (Sharplin Falls Canyon) 
 
Times: At the meet time you need to turn up and sign in, get a briefing of your task, prepare with your team, wait for deployment.
- 6am for IMT
- 7.30am for everyone else
 
You are getting this email because:
- you have just been (or about to go) on a Canyon Rescue Course (Nelson, Wanaka, Coromandel, Christchurch)
- you are part of an IMT response for SAR (Search or CanyonSAR)
- you are part of a local search team or Alpine Cliff Rescue team
 
Logistics:
- A packed lunch will be provided on the day to take with you - there will be vegetarian options.
- For the rescue folk bring all your canyon gear for a V3A3 canyon. Have enough rescue gear with you to rig one side of a two rope rescue.
- There will be team rescue rigging gear on site. If you have a 10mm canyon rope 40-50m long please bring along.
- For the search folk bring your normal search gear for the bush. You will not need to go into the canyon environment.

Notes:
  • If you are coming to the festival and have been on a rescue course I have assumed you are coming. Let me know otherwise.
  • If there is someone one not on the list (that should be) please get back to me and I can send out an invite.
  • There is some travel assistance available (for those not coming to the festival or not living in Canterbury). Please ask.
  • Aimee MacDonald, Upper South Island GSO to coordinate search teams - please contact her - 027 578 2500.
  • Buzz Russell or Jason Tweedie to organise Chch ACR team members.
