Single day canyon exercise

 

Meet at Hornby 0600h as it will be a long day. ( ACR Crew)

 

Everone else meeting at Mt Nimrod resurve for 10am, ready to go up the hill for 10.30 lift with the farmer that Koryn has organised.

 

Exact plan will depend on who / how many come, but potential items include:

1. Personal travel - for be effective in a canyon rescue all people need to be proficient canyoners.
2. Walk into Archway and do a tracking line up through the whole thing
3. Lower canyon, coming back up to the Loop Track and figuring out a Heli Evac point

Bring standard callout gear plus canyon specific bits (wetsuits etc).

Food and emergency equipment etc that you normally carry.

We head for home after the day is finished
