Brief for the day,

It is a fundraising event call - THE BIG CARRY

Date for event: 3^rd March 2018

We have on board Westpac, Fire, Police, St John and land SAR

As your team is a branch of land SAR you would fall under that banner.

What are we fundraising for, firstly Westpac and the Rakaia group that is the organising group of the event is rising founds to put a new roof on our HQ then the support groups like yourself will split the rest.

We have had an induction that the BK will be coming down and there is an opportunity to maybe sling lift someone with a stretcher as part of the Land SAR display.

Also we are planning to set a National Land SAR Record for the most people in a continues stretcher carry (Caterpillar Pass)

Then It leaves it for another groups to run the same event again and they can try to bet the record.
