Tor's Slope Raise session

Our first training session is next Tuesday 13 Feb, and we are re-creating a scenario that happened in 2016, but the helicopter got in before we did. The incident was a large fella busted his leg on the tracks near the Tor's climbing area in the Port Hills. When the ambos responded (Karen Jackson) the path was too rough to get the wheeled stretcher in and even with 6 people there would be a risk of dropping the patient.

The ACR team was going to rig a rope system, as the BK was unavailable. In the end they static lifted the guy using the Squirrel. We are going to see what we could have done.

Meet 6:30pm at the Rapaki gate on Summit Road and we'll go in as a convoy. Please be on time as the gate is locked.

Cheers
Jason
