Man threatening to jump off cliff at Sumner Area at Old Quarry site off lyttelton side of evens pass.
Intoxicated male on steep ground above quarry looking at jumping off site.
4 ACR crew dispatched with police to aid and recover the man before harm is done.
The male was rescued and brought out to police with no harm and a great result.
