Tuesday night ACR Training- Alpine Skills Session

Tuesday night ACR training session.

Training for Glacier travel and personal skills

Tonight we are going over:

• Gear needed for alpine travel (personal kit)
• Roping up, best practice
• crevasse extraction techiques and gear
• Any other alpine questions.

If you are going to the alpine SAREX later this month this is a good catch up session.

If you are NOT going to the SAREX please still come to this training.

Where:

Meeting on the Netball courts out of the way of the netballers at 6.30pm

I'll try and get one of our many guides to come along ( hand up please if you can assist) and teach us best practice for the evening.

NOTE:

Please bring your technical gear for this, ie ropes, harness, extraction pulleys etc, and any other gear you may want to ask about.
