The idea behind the QBRR workshop is to get practitioners from different backcountry technical rescue  backgrounds – mountain, cliff, cave and water - to train, work and play together. Participants are expected to be able to operate at Vertical Rope Rescue level.

The weekend covers on many aspects of technical rigging and rescue techniques The weekend format is flexible and not bound by a syllabus. If participants want to cover a specific topic we will endeavour to do so. Anecdotal and written feedback over the last 3 years has been positive making  the weekend training with like-minded people worthwhile.
