Paraglider crash at Mt Cheeseman.
Paraglider collapsed and subject fell 200 metres onto mountainside below access road on Mt Cheeseman.
Serious injuries including suspected spinal injuries. Rescue helicopter tasked but unable to recover subject due to steep terrain.
Paramedic left with subject while helicopter returned and uplifted Christchurch ACR team members.
Subject then recovered using ACR to anchor stretcher while being loaded by westpac paramedic and winched into westpac chopper and off to Christchurch Hospital.
ACR team recovered by Christchurch SAR Squad members.
